for this limited time no-strings offer.Under penalty of federal prison terms, new "interpretations" by the Department of Justice of existing regulations require this website, which formerly featured photographs and videos of sexual activity to keep records confirming that performers are of legal age. Under existing license agreements those records are kept by the content producers and are not available to individual websites.
The new regulations went into effect June 23. Since federal law 18 U.S.C. 2257 went into effect 15 years ago, everyone who PRODUCES porn has been required to prove that performers are over 18. The new "interpretation" requires the website displaying the images to maintain the required records, even if the content is hosted on the producer's website.
The new enforcement regulations require website's that did not produce the material to keep age records for every image that shows or implies sexual activity on their sites. This website will be facing felony charges if we continue distributing the same images we have been distributing for the last 10 years.
The maximum penalty is 10 years in prison per violation. 1,000 images would result in a 10,000 year prison term. For this reason we are in the process of removing all hardcore images and video clip's from all of our websites. As we obtain physical copies of other studios paperwork proving the age of the performers in the images and videos, the images and videos will be placed online again.
Here's how Section 2257 hurts you:
For example, the law would require a "dating" website to obtain ID from all members who wish to post sexually explicit pictures. That means you will therefore need to cough up your ID before posting your explicit photo and you will be seeing a lot less explicit pictures on theses websites. Even the offshore websites will be affected because the regulations apply to anywebsite that links to them. "Affiliated" websites must therefore obtain and maintain ID information for any and all images. For example, RADVideo.com reports taking offline approximately 30,000 hardcore images until they gain physical copies of other studios paperwork proving the age of the performers for each image. Thousands of adult video titles have been removed from Video on Demand (VOD) Sites. Most paysites rely heavily on licensed images they did not produce and will be taking offline any images that they do not have records for. Not only has it reduced the content currently available, but it will likely greatly reduce the amount of new content released.
